Business PLUS Services
Business Plus is the not-for-profit work service component of Human Service Center. The business unit is designed to compliment the Corporate Communities of Randolph County and the surrounding area. The “PLUS” stands for reduced overhead cost for our Corporate Partners and increased work opportunities for the mentally and developmentally disabled adults that are served at Human Service Center. Partnerships with corporate communities assist consumers in becoming more self-reliant through gained work skills and employment opportunities.

Business Plus enjoyed substantial growth with both its assembly and commodities programs. Employing substantially more HSC clients and allowing for increased efficiency and flexibility and the reduction of overhead expenses for our area partners .

An exciting new service component was added in 2003, to further strengthen operations within Business Plus. Anheuser-Busch Recycling Corporation and Horrell Distributors of Red Bud chose the Human Service Center as the site for aluminum recycling in our region. This addition will certainly support the continuing growth of HSC’s position as a viable alternative for community business partners.
