Providing outreach services in efforts to ensure that older adults with mental illness remain in the community in a safe and rewarding manner.

These disorders, like other biologically based diseases such as heart disease or diabetes, need to be treated. There is a variety of treatments and services available.


Have you or someone you know
experienced any of the following:

- Depressed mood most of the day?
- Loss of interesst or pleasure?
- Weight loss or gain?
- Trouble sleeping (too much or too little)?
- Feelings of guilt, worthlessness, hopelessness, or helplessness?
- Frequent crying spells?
- Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions?
- Frequent thoughts of death or suicide
SEEK ASSISTANCE IMMEDIATELY!
- Trouble remembering how to perform familiar tasks?
- Asking the same question over and over?
- Forgetting or using incorrect words?
- Getting disoriented & becoming lost in familiar places?
- Frequently misplacing things?
- Neglecting personal safety, hygiene, and/or nutrition?
